The user interface is simple, featuring a main tab where you can see the list of text files you want to analyze, along with some buttons that help you navigate through the program's features.

Loading Your Text Files

You can start checking out texts for their word or character count right at the top of the interface. Just a heads-up: you'll need to browse through your folders to load the text files because drag and drop isn’t an option here. Some users might find this feature useful when they’re busy tweeting or writing essays.

Getting Your Stats

The main job of TextStatistics is to give you details about characters, lines, or word counts in any text. After loading your files into the app, just hit the Get Statistics button and voila! You’ll see how many lines, words, and characters are in there—both with spaces counted and without.

This program lets you generate stats for multiple files in one folder or from different directories. Just remember, it only works with text files. And if you need those results in another format? No problem! You can export them straight to CSV format.
