Text-To-Hack Converter is a nifty little tool designed for older versions of the Opera web browser. It's pretty small but does a great job of quickly turning your regular text into what looks like a "hacker's" language.
This cool gadget translates most letters into numbers or symbols that look similar. Just to clarify, it's not like the apps that encrypt and decrypt text using fancy security methods. The output from this tool isn't protected, so keep that in mind!
Since Opera widgets have been out of the picture for a while now, this converter isn't compatible with the newest versions of the browser. But don't worry! You can still grab it from Softpedia and use it on older editions of Opera.
If you want to get this gadget up and running, all you have to do is download the .wgt file. If you're on Opera, just run it. If you downloaded it with another browser, drop it onto the main window.
The interface is super simple! You'll see a small window where you can type or paste your text into the upper pane. As soon as you do that, you'll see the encrypted version pop up right below in no time!
If you need to make any changes to your text after viewing it in hacker style, just select it and copy it using either the right-click menu or hit Ctrl+C on your keyboard. The tool doesn't have buttons for printing or exporting data, but copying works just fine!
