Create Custom Rules for Your Needs

If you're using this app for personal reasons, the default settings are great for figuring out your water's quality. But if you're a pool technician, chemist, or work at a pool shop, you can create up to 50 custom rules through the "Options" menu!

Where Do You Want Your Data?

You can also choose where to save your data—either on an external drive or right on your computer. Before diving in with TestWater, make sure you've gathered some important measurements like pool size, temperature, pH level, and running time. Jot these down somewhere handy.

Select the Right Options

You can pick things like the surface of your pool (concrete, aggregate, marble) and how clear or cloudy the water is (clear, cloudy, green). Plus, if you've got any additional equipment like sand filters or salt chlorinators, don't forget to include those too!

Once everything's set up just right, hit that "Test" button! The app will calculate something called the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), which tells you whether your water is corrosive, balanced, or scaling. You'll get a report that opens in your web browser and can be printed out.
