Test Evidence Suite is a lifesaver when it comes to hunting down software bugs and testing applications. Two Independent Applications

The suite has two separate applications to help you out. First up is the Test Recorder, which testers run to create detailed logs of their activities. Then there’s the Test Reviewer, which is used by whoever is trying to fix the bug. The cool part? Test Reviewer can read those logs generated by Test Recorder and export them as PDFs, making it easy to share findings.

Capturing User Activity

Test Recorder does an awesome job at capturing mouse clicks and keyboard strokes while taking screenshots of your display. If you're using multiple monitors, you can pick which one you want to capture or even snag images from all of them!

No Spying Here!

This app isn’t about spying on users, so its main window has to stay open during recording sessions. Plus, you can't start recordings remotely or schedule them ahead of time. But don't worry! You can choose what actions get captured and set up custom hotkeys for starting, stopping, or pausing your recordings.

Diving Into Logs with Test Reviewer

Test Reviewer allows you to look closely at the logs made by Test Recorder. These logs come with timestamps showing exactly when each action happened—like which mouse button was clicked or what key was pressed—and where the pointer was located in the screenshot.

Your Computer Info at Hand

You also get details about the computer where the log was created: things like operating system, machine name, user name, CPU type, and .Net Framework version are included too.
