Teseve is a handy little app that helps developers test their websites before they go live. You know how important it is to catch any issues early, right? Well, to do that, you need a local web server set up.
Teseve makes creating a static web server super easy! In no time at all, you can have everything up and running. It even has this cool auto index feature that shows you the contents of your server. How cool is that?
If you’ve already got your server root ready to go, just drag and drop your folder into the main window. Boom! The web server gets created automatically. You’ll see a link pop up that you can click to open it in your default browser.
Now, here’s the catch: right now, you can only manage one server at a time with Teseve. So if you're looking to juggle multiple servers, this might not be for you just yet.
Teseve can also create directory indexes for you automatically! But if that's not something you need, no worries—you can turn it off.
Every time someone accesses files or folders in the server root, Teseve keeps track of it. You'll know exactly when an item was opened. And if things get too cluttered? You can clear the log whenever you want!
If you're feeling fancy, Teseve lets you choose which port to use since it picks one randomly at first.
Teseve really aims to keep things simple for users who want an easy way to run a static web server on their Mac. Even though it currently manages just one server at a time, setting it up takes hardly any effort—leaving you more time for other important tasks!
