Terminator is a super easy-to-use tool that helps you wipe data from your computer's drives quickly and safely. It won’t mess with the basic functions or features of your disks, which is great!

How Does Terminator Work?

You can use Terminator to erase data right from your disk drives or connect to your computer remotely. This means you can set it up to clean or erase stuff without being at your computer. Want to do it from your phone or through a local network? No problem!

Selecting Your Drive

To get started, just pick the drive you want to clean or a specific folder. You’ll need to copy the path or item into one of two action blocks. For example, you can set Block A to “Erase” and Block B to “Exit.” Whatever location you specify in each block will follow the action you assigned.

Create Action Lists

You can create lists of items like files, folders, or drives and assign them to either action block. Just drag and drop items from the left menu into Block A or Block B. Each block can have its own special action!

Adjusting Actions

If you want to change what each block does, head over to the Actions tab. Here, you can define actions like “Erase Block A” or “Clear Block B.” If you're unsure about what you've set up, hit the Test button in the lower left corner for a preview.

Scheduling Tasks

Terminator also lets you automate certain tasks if you've scheduled them ahead of time. This could be based on time passing by, changes in file conditions, pressing hotkeys, or even commands coming from your local network.

Remote Connection Features

You can connect remotely via a local network with Terminator. Just make sure you've set things up correctly first! You'll need to specify the network port, enter user credentials (whether you're an admin or not), and provide the server’s IP address. You can also choose system processes that should be prompted and save logs of actions taken.
