Tc is a super handy Twitch chat client that a lot of folks are using these days. If you love watching streams on Twitch, you know how fun it can be to join in the chat. But here's the thing: that chat shows up as a sidebar next to the video. So, if you're watching in theater mode, it can shrink your video down, which isn’t great!

Connection Made Easy

Tc connects using WebSockets to Twitch’s chat servers. This means you can focus on your stream without worrying about what's going on in the chat until you're ready to dive in.

User-Friendly Interface

While Tc doesn’t follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines exactly for macOS apps, its user interface is still pretty easy to use. It gives you a nice thumbnail preview of the stream and has built-in controls for quick messaging and moderation.

The left sidebar shows you the chat user list, user info panel, and stream thumbnail at the top. Plus, there’s a tab bar so you can switch between all your open chats quickly!

Express Yourself with Emotes

Tc supports all official emotes from Twitch along with BTTV and FFZ emotes. This helps you express yourself better in conversations! And with text shortcuts, creating custom text-based emotes is a breeze.

A Little Challenge for New Users

One thing to note: while Tc has emote autocomplete features, it doesn’t have an easy way for beginners to pick specific emotes like they do on the website chat. So that might take some getting used to!
