SysMate - System File Walker

SysMate - System File Walker is a lightweight and portable application developed to replace system files that require you to take ownership, in order to remove this restriction. It comes packed with a simple set of options that can be configured even by users with little or no experience in software applications. Since installation is not a requirement, you can drop the executable file to any location on the hard disk and just click it to run, as long as you have .NET Framework installed. It is also possible to save SysMate - System File Walker to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort. An important aspect to take into account is that the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and files are not kept on the HDD after removing the tool. The interface of the application is represented by a regular window with a plain and simple layout, where you can point out the original system file and replacement using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop method is not supported. Initializing the task is done with the simple click of a button. You can restore a file just as easily, as well as open the backup folder from the main application window. There are no other notable options provided by the program. SysMate - System File Walker is very light on the system resources, using a minimal amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. Unfortunately, it failed in its attempt to replace several system files during Softpedia evaluation. Nevertheless, even first-time users can tinker with SysMate - System File Walker's options, thanks to their overall simplicity.
