Local Package Install
For local package installations on client machines:
- Remove the local symlink
- Create a stub directory
- Edit the .syncopt file or use a command line to install the package
Undoing a Local Package Install
To reverse a local package installation:
- Remove the local copy
- Edit the .syncopt file if necessary
- Run syncopt to synchronize
Bringing a Client into Sync
After a new package installation:
- Create the necessary directories
- Use syncopt to sync
- Adjust behaviors with the .syncopt file
