Swiftly-Clean is a handy tool made just for Swift developers. It helps you clean up your Xcode projects and stick to custom standards without any hassle.

Easy Setup for Your Projects

Getting started with Swiftly-Clean is super simple! You can easily download configuration files that include popular rules from other Swift developers on sites like StackOverflow or from the swiftcleanapp.com survey.

Selecting Your Project

Once you open the main app, you’ll need to pick the Xcode project you want to tidy up. You can do this by using the Finder menu or just dragging and dropping your .xcodeproj file right onto the app’s window. Easy, right?

Choosing Configuration Settings

The next step is to choose which settings you want to use. Swiftly-Clean can download some predefined SwiftStyleSettings.plist files and save them in your Downloads folder by default. Or, if you prefer, you can head over to the swiftcleanapp.com survey page!

Your Choices Matter

If you complete all 39 questions in the survey, you'll get a configuration file based on your answers. Plus, you can see how your choices stack up against what other developers picked!

Using Custom Rules

If you're into customizing things further, place your custom SwiftStyleSettings.plist file in the same folder as your .xcodeproj file. You can check or skip certain prefixes and folders as needed.

Simplifying Installation

Just hit that Install Run Script button within Swiftly-Clean, and it’ll set everything up for you! Then just run your project in Xcode. Keep in mind that while Swiftly-Clean has some auto-fixing features, not all rules are supported.

Your Coding Standards Matter!

This app gives you control over which coding standards to use while working on Swift projects. You can follow either your own rules or those that are popular among other developers from StackOverflow or through the swiftcleanapp.com survey.

Error Display Made Simple

The cool thing about Swiftly-Clean is that it automatically applies some of these rules and shows build errors if anything doesn’t match for unsupported ones.
