How Easy is SuperFolder to Use?

The best part? You don’t need to be a tech whiz to work with it! Just some basic computer skills will do. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that Command Prompt has to be enabled. If it's not, the app won't work as expected.

Creating Your SuperFolder

When you open up SuperFolder, you'll see its main window where you can browse through your system. You'll select the folder you want to target and then choose a name from a drop-down menu. These names are actually forbidden keywords in Windows—think 'Con', 'Prn', 'Aux', 'Nul', 'Com1', or 'Lpt1'. Pick whichever one sounds good to you and hit that Create SuperFolder button!

Your Folder is Safe!

After doing this, you'll find a new folder in your chosen directory that simply can’t be removed. If someone tries to delete or move it, they'll see an error message saying the source isn't accessible due to reasons like 'The Handle Is Invalid' or 'Incorrect Function'. So it's really safe!

No Renaming Allowed!

The cool thing about SuperFolder is that it also stops anyone from renaming or deleting the folder. It just doesn’t respond if someone tries! That means no one can mess with your folders by changing their names or moving them around.

Deleting Your SuperFolder

If for some reason you want to get rid of your superfolder, it's pretty simple too! Just go back through the same steps as when you created it: load up the directory where it’s located, pick the name you gave it earlier, and click on Delete SuperFolder. And boom! It’s gone!
