Description

Subrosa

Subrosa is a handy tool that helps you keep all your login details safe and sound in one spot. With so many services asking for unique passwords, it can be a real headache trying to remember them all. That's where this neat little app comes into play!

Portable and Easy to Use

The best part? Subrosa is portable! This means you don’t have to deal with any messy setup. You can just grab it and go! Plus, it doesn’t use up much of your computer's resources, so you can run it without slowing anything down.

Simplistic Design

Now, let’s talk about the design. It’s pretty straightforward—no flashy stuff to distract you. The workspace is divided into two panels that help you easily navigate between the password database and the password generator.

Storing Your Credentials

You can store names and passwords for any account, which is super useful, especially when some services require specific passwords. There's even an option to add an extra layer of security by writing down a master key. This allows Subrosa to encrypt your data using the Blowfish algorithm, keeping everything locked up tight unless you enter that key!

Adding Information Made Simple

All your entries are neatly stored in a list that only shows the name. Adding new details is as easy as typing in your password along with the service name or a quick note about what it's for. If you've generated passwords, there’s also a button for importing them—all part of making things easier for you.

Password Generation Features

The app can generate up to 1,000 different passwords at once! You can mix symbols, numbers, and letters (but no option for uppercase or lowercase). Just hit “Generate,” and voilà—you’ve got multiple security keys ready to go!

Lack of Export Options

A little downside? When saving your file, it only exports in its own format, meaning you have to access it through the main window. It would be nice if you could save everything as a plain TXT file too—but hey, that's just for security reasons.

The Bottom Line on Subrosa

In conclusion, Subrosa might not seem fancy at first glance but it’s a really straightforward way to keep track of all your credentials securely. While it may lack flexibility, its simplicity makes it practical enough—especially when you make use of its built-in generator! So if you're looking for an easy solution to manage those pesky passwords safely, check out Subrosa here!
