The Stand application is super easy to use. It has a status bar menu that lets you access its Preferences quickly. You'll get audio and visual notifications when it's time to stand up. Plus, it doesn't hog space on your desktop, so it fits right into your daily routine.



Notifications That Keep You Moving


This app uses the Notifications Center for alerts, and the message stays on your screen until you acknowledge it. So you won't miss a reminder! However, it has limited customization options.



No Personal Touches Here


You can't change the status bar icon or disable the menulet. Also, there's no option to pick different sounds for alerts or use custom messages for reminders. It keeps things straightforward!



Add It to Your Startup


The cool part? You can set Stand to open automatically when you log in! You also have control over how often you want those reminders—just use the slider bar to set a timer between 0 and 59 minutes.



A Reminder Like Apple Watch


Stand works similarly to Apple Watch reminders that tell you every hour it's time to move around. Just keep in mind that while it notifies you, it doesn’t force you to take a break. So how effective it is really depends on how much you pay attention!
