STAMPTOOLS is a super simple app for OS X that lets you easily create your own stamps. Whether you want to mark financial documents or any other papers, this tool makes it easy right from your Mac!

Creating Your Stamp

The way STAMPTOOLS is set up now, it’s pretty straightforward. You can only make circular stamps with three fields that you can customize to fit your needs.

Customizing Your Text

Once you decide on a single or double circle margin and pick the size of your stamp, it’s time to get creative! You can customize the text in both the upper and lower fields. Just type in what you want to show up on your stamp image.

Font Options Galore!

You have the freedom to use any font installed on your system for those text fields. Plus, if you want, you can mix and match different font sizes for each field!

Add a Date

Another cool feature is the middle date field. You can choose today’s date or set a custom date manually. There are six different formats for dates too, so you can really personalize how your stamp looks.

Using Your Stamps

The great thing about the stamps you design with STAMPTOOLS is that they’re compatible with any rich text editor or word processor. Just drag and drop them into whatever document you want to stamp!

Limitations

However, there’s a bit of a downside: right now, you can't use these stamps on PDF documents. This limit comes from some PDF reader apps we’ve tested and does hold back what businesses could do with STAMPTOOLS.

All in all, while STAMPTOOLS gets the job done for basic stamping needs, it might not offer enough customization options for everyone. The use cases are somewhat limited too.
