SRAtoolkit is a free and cross-platform application that enables you to work with data in the INSDC Sequence Read Archives from a simple GUI.
SRAtoolkit provides users with a simple method for simple reading / dumping sequencing files from SRA database and for writing / loading to the SRA database.
Being developed using Java, SRAtoolkit is a cross-platform tool which can be used on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
