How Does SpotlightView Work?

When you launch SpotlightView, it covers your entire screen with a black layout. But here’s the cool part: it allows you to see through a small round window that follows your cursor around. This way, you can read your documents without anyone else seeing what you're up to!

A Unique Way to Keep Your Privacy

The round window is about three inches wide and moves with your mouse. Just a heads up though, it has a slight delay. If you move the mouse slowly, the clear area will follow along just fine. But if you swipe too fast, it might lag behind for a moment. You can easily get it back on track by hovering over the fixed window.

No Loss of Functionality

Even though the rest of your screen is blacked out, all functions are still available! For instance, you can use the Ctrl + Mouse 3 combo to zoom in or out and highlight text in that visible area. Just make sure to open your document before starting SpotlightView. Otherwise, you might accidentally click on something else when trying to read!
