What is Spline FOR LINUX?

Spline

Spline is a cool software tool that can help you create smooth curves through a set of points. Unlike regular splines, Spline uses an Akima-spline to make your curves look way better, almost like they were drawn by hand! Just keep in mind that while it does a great job with the curve, the second derivative isn't continuous.

How to Use Spline

Using Spline is pretty straightforward. Here's how you can get started:

Command: aspline [-hv][-a [xstep]][-l llimit][-u ulimit][-n points] {data-file(s)}

Options Available

  • -a, --auto: This lets you automatically supply abscissas.

  • -l, --llimit: Use this to set your lower x-limit.

  • -u, --ulimit: This helps you set your upper x-limit.

  • -n, --points: You can space output points so there are approximately n intervals between the lower and upper limit.

  • -h, --help: If you're confused or need help, this option shows all available commands and exits.

  • -v, --verbose: Want more details? This option gives you a verbose output.

  • -V, --version: Check the version and copyright info with this command.

  • -W, --warranty: Curious about licensing terms? This command displays that information!
