When you launch Soundcast, it automatically starts searching for any compatible Chromecast devices on your network. You can easily see the list of devices right in the app's status bar menu. And if you ever need to refresh that list, no worries! Just hit the refresh button anytime you want.

Once you've found your Chromecast device in the list, just select it, and Soundcast will take care of the rest! It starts casting audio straight away without needing any extra fuss on your part. Plus, to confirm everything’s working smoothly, Soundcast updates its menu icon to show success.

Troubleshooting Options

If something goes wrong while casting, don’t stress! You can stop the casting process or reset the audio adapter right from the Soundcast status bar menu. It's designed to keep things easy and manageable.

Your Setup Requirements

A quick note: before using Soundcast, make sure you've got the Soundflower app installed on your Mac first. Soundflower acts as a virtual audio device and is super important for getting your system’s audio cast over WiFi.
