The name SLAG stands for Simple Little Audio Gadget. SLAG was developed to be a free music-playing sidebar gadget that uses the Windows Media Player database.
It's small and compact, but when you click the album cover image (or visualization), a flyout displays additional details about the current track. There's a link to the track's folder, and a link to search the Web for the artist. It also features a customizable text display, and a mouse wheel activated volume control. Choose from a light or a dark color scheme.
