When it comes to how SkyCD looks, it’s pretty straightforward. The interface fits nicely in a classic window frame, making it easy to navigate through your database content. There’s a side panel that shows a tree list of all your folders while the rest of the space displays your files with thumbnails. You can switch between view modes like small icons, list view, details, or tiles.

Adding Files Made Simple

You might think adding files would be tricky, but the add dialog is quite user-friendly! You can filter content from different sources like media disks or folders on your computer—and even grab stuff from the Internet! Just fill in some fields like the name and source of the files and decide if you want to add them to an existing database or create a new one.

No Direct File Operations

However, there's one thing to note: while browsing through files looks similar to File Explorer, you can't do actions like delete or move files directly within SkyCD. It would’ve been nice if there was a search function too since finding things in a crowded database could get tricky.
