Description

SketchyPhysics

SketchyPhysics is a super cool free plugin for Google SketchUp that lets you run simulations based on real-world physics. Imagine being able to see how things would move and interact in the real world, all from your computer!

What Does SketchyPhysics Do?

With SketchyPhysics, you can play around with Newtonian physics laws applied to grouped objects. It even allows you to drag objects around the screen using your mouse! So, if you've ever wanted to pull things like they do in the real world, this tool makes it happen.

User Interaction Made Easy

You can control how objects move using joysticks or buttons on a joypad or keyboard. It's pretty neat because you can set up various joints and settings for grouped objects. Want to add self-replicating emitters or thrusters? You can do that too!

Advanced Features with Ruby Scripting

If you're looking for more advanced actions, SketchyPhysics even supports limited Ruby scripting! This means that if you're tech-savvy, you can get creative with what this software can do.

How to See It in Action

If you're curious about how SketchyPhysics works, just install it on your PC or Mac and search for 'Sketchyphysics' in the Google 3D warehouse. You'll find tons of examples and ideas!

The Power Behind The Scenes

SketchyPhysics uses the Newton Physics Engine from Newton Game Dynamics to power its simulations. This means you're getting some solid physics backing your fun experiments!

Cross-Platform Compatibility

This handy tool works on both Mac OS X and Windows systems! If you're on Windows, binaries are available right on the project's homepage.
