Skadi is a super simple image viewer for Mac that lets you quickly jump between pictures, just like the default Windows app. If you're tired of waiting around to see your photos, this is the app for you!

Easy to Use

Getting started with Skadi is a breeze! Just drag and drop any image file from your chosen folder onto the app's main window. You’ll be able to see all supported image formats in that folder without any hassle.

Limitations to Keep in Mind

One thing to note is that if you drag and drop a whole folder icon onto Skadi, the viewer resets. Also, you can't view images from different folders at once or open multiple windows. It’s designed for straightforward browsing!

User-Friendly Toolbar

The main window of Skadi has a small toolbar at the bottom for managing your images. You can hide this toolbar by clicking a button or simply pressing the P key, giving you more screen space for your images.

Navigating Images Made Easy

You can easily jump to the next or previous picture using your arrow keys. Need to fit an image to the window? Just press I! If you want full-screen mode, hit F! Plus, showing an image in its original size is as simple as pressing O or 0.

Zooming In and Out

If zooming is what you need, Skadi has got you covered with - and + keys for quick adjustments. You won’t have to wait forever while loading images; it allows instant access to all photos in a directory.
