Getting Started with Site Journal

The installation is quick and simple. Once it’s set up, you can jump right in! Just create a new project and fill in all the necessary details about it.

User-Friendly Interface

The main window of Site Journal has a neat tabbed layout. This makes it really easy to switch between different sections like ‘State of the Site’, ‘Attendees’, ‘Failures’, ‘Construction Progress’, and ‘Materials’. Everything is organized just the way you need it!

Creating Your Project

You’ll start by naming your project and adding info about participants and companies. You can also decide how you want your company data to show up through the ‘Settings’ menu.

Daily Reports Made Easy

Next, head over to the ‘Daily Report’ section to add entries for each inspection day. Here, you'll put in dates, start and end times, plus weather details like temperature and humidity. You can even note down any special issues or performance levels, and don’t forget to click on the ‘Photos’ button to upload images showing how everything looks right now!

Tracking Attendees and Issues

In the ‘Attendees’ tab, list everyone who’s at the site that day. If there are any problems like delays or inaccuracies, use the ‘Failures’ section to document those too.

Documenting Construction Progress

The ‘Construction Progress’ tab lets you jot down measures taken, instructions given, or any changes made during construction. Plus, in the 'Notations' tab, you can add notes on extra work done or phone calls made.

Your Materials & Equipment Log

You can also keep track of materials used and any drawings or documents involved in your project. Don’t forget about logging equipment and machines for complete monitoring!
