Getting Started with SimplePotter3D

The first thing you’ll notice is that SimplePotter3D has a simple interface, but it might feel like it still needs some work. Some of the menu names are spelled wrong, which can be a bit confusing at first. When you launch the app for the first time, you'll need to pick your favorite screen size.

Resizing Issues

Now, here's where it gets tricky: resizing the interface isn't easy! You have to use these little on-screen controls that only change the size in tiny steps. This can be super frustrating since it might take forever just to get things how you want them. But hey, once you set a size, SimplePotter3D remembers it for next time!

Create Basic Shapes

You can create spheres and cubes in SimplePotter3D, but don’t expect too much flexibility here. The app only offers pre-defined shapes—there's no way to tweak their sizes yourself. You’ll also find something called “turningdraws.” This feature lets you enter points connected by lines and then tries to turn them into 3D shapes.

The Drawbacks of Turningdraws

But watch out! Sometimes the app messes up and turns your drawings into shapes that look nothing like what you intended. Plus, if you want to make new 3D objects, you'll need to clear your current layout first using a command, which again can waste your time.

A Limited Choice for 3D Creation

If you're hoping to generate awesome 3D objects easily with SimplePotter3D, this might not be the best choice for you. The interface feels basic and can be frustrating at times. With only two main options—sphere or cube—and that quirky turningdraw feature that doesn’t always work right, this software may not hit the mark for serious 3D creators.
