This bundle installs really quickly and easily, taking just a couple of seconds thanks to its simple installer. Once you’ve got it set up, the first thing you’ll notice is the user-friendly SimPhase Interface.

User-Friendly Interface

The interface helps users define and analyze induction motors. Plus, it kicks off the second big part of the bundle – the SimPhase Induction Motor Calculations (ICM) Program. This component does some serious number-crunching to give you accurate calculations for steady-state conditions of a three-phase induction motor, no matter how you load it or what terminal voltage you use.

Simplified Project Creation

The main window looks clean, and the GUI is what you'd expect from any app in this field. When you're ready to save your projects, they get saved as .stu files. But first, you'll need to create a three-phase bus! Just right-click on an empty spot in your diagram and select “create bus.” Then, fill out the Bus Properties Dialog with your bus name and Rated Voltage values.

Accurate Calculations Every Time

With your mechanical loadings defined, the SimPhase IMC Program can calculate important steady-state details like speed and slip values. Just keep in mind that if you're using the free version of this app, it'll only work with motors rated under 25 HP and without VFD speed controls.
