User-Friendly Interface

The first thing you'll notice about Shogi Explorer is its super easy-to-use interface. You can start by loading the game record that you'd like to analyze. Just a heads-up: this app only works with specific formats like UTF-8 or Shift JIS KIF. No worries though; these formats are usually available on Shogi websites.

Loading Game Records

You have options when it comes to loading your records! You can pull them from your computer, copy them from the clipboard, or even use HTTP links if you're playing on official sites. It's all about making things simple for you!

Analyzing Your Game

When it's time to check out the analysis, Shogi Explorer has got you covered. You can see scores in centipawns along with any errors and blunders you've made during the game. All this info is displayed on a handy XY plot that’s easy to access from the graph tab.

Edit Positions & More

If you're looking to analyze single positions, there’s an ‘Infinite’ engine mode for that! Plus, you can even edit the board positions as needed. If you want more options, turn on ‘multipv’ in the engine settings so it shows multiple best lines for each move!
