SensiGuard is a handy software tool for keeping your files safe. It offers features like file and USB device locking, file shredding, and secure file transfers between users. This means you can easily protect your important data!

Quick Installation Process

The installation is super quick and shouldn't give you any headaches. Once you set it up, you'll find shortcuts for SensiGuard on your desktop. Plus, it adds a shortcut for something called 'USB Vault.' This lets you use SensiGuard on a USB flash drive or memory card, locking it with a password to keep everything secure.

Setting Up Your Account

When you launch the app, you'll see a simple wizard that helps you create your master password. You'll also need to answer three challenge questions for when you need to recover your password later. Good news: no email address is needed! Just remember that you'll need this key every time you access SensiGuard.

Generating Your Encryption Key

After setting up your password, the app will guide you through creating a key pair for encrypting files. You can enter your name and email to make a unique public key that'll help with secure transfers between two SensiGuard users.

User-Friendly Interface

The main window of the app is clean and organized. It even has its own file navigator so you can easily find files to lock or shred. And even though it doesn't say so, SensiGuard quietly creates an icon in the system tray when it starts up.

Locking and Shredding Files

You can lock, unlock, or shred multiple files at once! Unlike many other tools out there, SensiGuard doesn't create new encrypted versions of your files; instead, it locks the originals. They get tied to SensiGuard and can only be accessed if you've got the right password.

What You Should Know

Keep in mind that locked files can still be copied or deleted by others if they have access to them. Also, if you change your master password, all previously locked files will be erased automatically!

No Data Loss After Trial Expiration

If your trial runs out, don't worry! You still have access to the main panel and can unlock any locked files without losing data. Even if you uninstall it later on, locked files will stay on your hard drive until you reinstall SensiGuard.

Permanently Shredding Files

You can also permanently remove files from your computer using the shredding feature so nobody else can recover them with special software!

Personal Encryption Made Easy

You can apply personal encryption using unique public keys in .sensikey format for sending secure files to other users of SensiGuard. It's best to set up a contacts list to simplify sending files back and forth.
