Secure FTP is a handy client application that lets you create a 128-bit encrypted secure connection to any server that supports FTP over SSL, which we also call FTPS.

Easy to Use for Everyone

This app can be used through its graphical user interface (GUI) or from the command-line interface (CLI). That means it can work without a screen too, making it perfect for both beginners and advanced users!

Compliant and Compatible

The client follows the rules set out in RFC 2228, and it gives you two types of SSL connection options: explicit and implicit. This means it’s compatible with lots of different servers!

Free for Personal Use

You can use Secure FTP for free if you're not using it for business. If you want to use it commercially, don’t worry! You get a free license for the first 30 days.

Supported Platforms

This cool client works on Windows, Mac OS X, and any Unix platform that has a Java 2 runtime environment (version 1.4 or higher). Plus, it’s written in 100% pure Java, so it's super reliable.
