Description
Screentest
Screentest is a handy tool for testing CRT and LCD screens. It shows off different patterns that help check things like screen convergence and linearity. Plus, it’s built using the GTK+ toolkit, making it pretty user-friendly.
What's New in This Release?
There are some exciting updates in this version:
- We’ve done a major overhaul! Now it uses GTK+ 2.x along with libglade.
- I18N support has been added—this means we’re looking to translate the tool! (There are still a few hiccups with international characters, but don’t worry; we’ll fix that in the next version.)
- You can now choose colors more easily! There’s a new color picker that pops up for selecting colors.
- It’s also simpler to create new tests now!
Why Use Screentest?
If you’re looking for an easy way to test your screen's quality, Screentest is definitely worth checking out. The patterns it displays can really help pinpoint any issues your screen might have.
