SCARM is a super handy software that helps you design your own railroad models and see them in a cool 3D setup. It’s lightweight, so it doesn’t slow down your computer at all!

Easy to Use Interface

This software comes with a bunch of specific options but keeps things simple with a clean layout. You won’t feel overwhelmed when you first open it.

Choose Your Track System

You can pick from lots of railway track systems like Bachmann G Large Scale, Atlas O Industrial, Lionel O, Hornby OO, and Fleischmann HO Profi, among others. Just drag and drop the tracks right into your workspace!

Edit With Ease

The program lets you easily choose where to start, undo or redo actions, and do basic editing like cut, copy, paste, or delete. Plus, you can add text messages wherever you want.

Create and Customize Your Model

You can set up a baseboard and zoom in or out as needed. Group objects together or rotate them to any angle you like. SCARM even helps you generate HTML reports that show details about your model parts—like their number, name, scale, producer, and any notes!

More Cool Features

Other features include measuring distances accurately, adding bridges and tunnels to your design, picking custom colors for objects, and adjusting track height. It’s pretty flexible!

Explore in 3D

The built-in 3D viewer is awesome! You can rotate the model around to see it from different angles or zoom in for close-ups. You can also take snapshots of your designs or make the terrain visible—or not—whenever you want.

Print and Export Options

You can print out your designs or export them in formats like BMP, JPG, or EMF. Using hotkeys makes controlling everything even easier.

While testing SCARM out ourselves, we found that it works quickly without any errors showing up during use. The image quality is impressive too! Plus it's easy on computer resources so you won't notice any lag while you're using it.
