Satscape is a cool Java-based software that helps you track satellites. It shows where any satellite is right now and can even tell you when it will pass by your spot. It's loaded with useful settings to make the experience better!

Portable and Easy to Use

The best part? You don't need to install anything! Satscape is portable. Just grab the program files, toss them in a folder on your computer, and double-click the EXE file to run it—just make sure you have Java installed first.

Launch from Anywhere

If you're on the go, save Satscape on a USB drive or any removable storage. You can easily launch it on any PC without leaving a trace behind. It doesn’t mess with your Windows registry or create extra files when you uninstall it.

User-Friendly Interface

The interface of Satscape is super easy to navigate. You’ll see a simple window where you can tweak settings and view information in tables, 2D, or even 3D views. To get started, just enter your location’s name and coordinates (you can use standard or decimal format).

Detailed Satellite Tracking

Once you've set up your location, you can check out details like latitude, longitude, altitude, azimuth, elevation, range, and visibility for each nearby satellite in table view. Want more? You can explore additional info in the 2D and 3D views too! Predicting passes is easy; just select a date and how many days of passes you want to see—all satellites or just your favorites.

Customize Your Experience

You can personalize Satscape by changing its appearance (UI skin), turning off speech options, switching distances from kilometers to miles, adjusting ground track length, speed updates, ambient light levels—and even turning off anti-aliasing mode! Plus, there’s an option to study groups of satellites too.

No Issues Found!

We ran some tests with Satscape and didn't hit any snags—it didn’t crash or throw error messages at us. The tool responds quickly to commands and provides accurate information while using minimal CPU and RAM resources. It might not be super intuitive for everyone but overall Satscape offers an effective way to check out data about nearby satellites!
