Getting Started with Safari AdBlocker
If you want to enjoy a cleaner and smoother browsing experience, the first step is downloading the light DMG disk image. Just mount it, launch the installer, and follow the instructions. Easy peasy!

The best thing? You can use Safari AdBlocker alongside the latest AdBlock Plus filter subscriptions! You can find all available subscriptions on the AdBlock Plus Subscriptions page, and adding any of them directly into Safari AdBlocker is super easy.
Create Your Own Filters
You’re not just stuck with default options either; you can create and manage your own list of filters right from the Filters tab in Safari’s Preferences. And if you ever want to switch things up, exporting or importing your lists takes just a couple of clicks!
Stay Updated Automatically
You can even set up Safari AdBlocker to update all active subscriptions weekly! Plus, there’s an option for contextual menus that lets you block or whitelist websites, images, or frames without any hassle.
A Note on Compatibility
A little heads up: unfortunately, Safari AdBlocker isn’t compatible with Safari 5 or newer versions. This means Mac users with updated browsers might be out of luck for now. Fingers crossed they roll out an update soon so everyone can enjoy it!
