s3dropbox is a super handy free Java Swing app that lets you easily drag and drop files right into it. Once you do, those files get uploaded automatically to your Amazon S3 account. How cool is that?
With s3dropbox, you can create public links for the files you upload. This means you can send these links in emails. When someone clicks on the link, they can download the file using any web browser. You can also grab the files yourself later on by using the app whenever you need them.
To get started with s3dropbox, all you need to do is run this command: java -jar S3DropBox-.jar. It’s really straightforward!
The credentials file is optional when using this software. If you don’t have one handy, no worries! The app will automatically look for a file named .s3dropbox in your home directory.
