When you launch Runecats, it minimizes right to the system tray. You’ll see a little balloon notification popping up to let you know it's running. Just double-click on it, and a small panel appears, showing you all your desktops. You can also access this menu through the tray icon's context menu – so there’s more than one way to get around!

Customize Your Workspace

The cool part? You can even rename each desktop however you like! This feature is available through the desktop panel while using the tray icon is just for quick navigation. Plus, with Runecats, you've got up to ten desktops at your fingertips. That's plenty of space for all your different projects!

Room for Improvement

However, there are some things we wish were better with this application. For starters, it doesn’t let you set hotkeys to switch between desktops quickly. So if you're used to fast switching, you'll need to take some time getting used to their methods.

Limitations on Window Management

If you open a window in one workspace, it stays there until the session ends and can't be moved around easily or viewed from another desktop without switching back.
