Road Trip Planner

Road Trip Planner is a super handy Mac app that helps you plan your trips and keeps all the important info in one spot. It creates a new document for each trip, so you can also look back at your previous adventures.

Organized Document Window

The Road Trip Planner window is split into three main parts: on the left, you see the route and cool POI (Point of Interest) pins. In the middle, there are details about the pin you selected, and on the far right, you can check out a standard, satellite, or hybrid map.

Getting Started with Your Route

To kick things off, just add new route pins! You can enter a specific location or pick an address from your Contacts (don't forget to let Road Trip Planner connect with your default macOS Contacts app). The best part? You can easily change the order of those pins by dragging and dropping them around.

Add Details to Each Pin

Inside Road Trip Planner, for every pin in your route, you can attach arrival and departure dates. Plus, you can set up different activities in between! It's pretty awesome because it lets you store details like costs, addresses, reservations—everything!

Create Your Own Database

And guess what? Road Trip Planner lets you create a database of web addresses that you need access to quickly within the app. Just a heads-up: remember that routes come from Apple servers, so be sure to update them manually whenever you make changes.
