As far as settings are concerned, you can allow processors to use throttle states in addition to performance states, specify the minimum and maximum performance state of the processor, set the number of processor performance time check intervals to use when calculating the average utility, and more.

The third pane lets you monitor the CPU power and usage along with thermal zone temperature for each CPU core. Meanwhile, advanced users may schedule tasks to automatically run on a regular basis. Any modified options can be easily restored to default with the click of a button.

We have not come across any stability issues in our tests, since RightMark PPM Panel did not hang, crash, or pop up error dialogs. Obviously, it puts a strain on CPU and RAM when it's performing a benchmark, which is normal for this type of software. Thanks to its standard and advanced settings alike, the tool should meet the requirements of most users looking to test the hardware features of their machines.
