Resource Progress Bar creates an icon in the systray at startup and silently monitors your computer, without interrupting you with notifications. Double-clicking this tray icon brings up the main window with four tiny progress bars representing the CPU, memory, network, and disk activity.
Settings can be configured from the right-click menu of the main window or systray icon. It's possible to make the panel stay on top of other applications, change its opacity level to make it more or less transparent, set the maximum rate, disable the monitor for any of the four activities, as well as enable an intermittent LED light for the network and disk usage.
These preferences can be remembered by the app with the click of a button. Moreover, you can set it to automatically run every time you turn on your computer. Unfortunately, there's no setting available for increasing the size of the progress bars because they're very small.
Taking everything into account, Resource Progress Bar delivers a simple and straightforward solution for keeping track of your computer's resources usage when it comes to CPU, memory, disk, and network.
