What is Resizer FOR MAC?

Resizer for Mac

Resizer is a handy little Mac app that helps you tackle the hassle of viewing @2x or -hd cocos2d images on non-retina devices. You know how scrolling can get out of hand and mess with how your project looks? Well, Resizer is here to help by letting you cut the image resolution in half with just a simple drag and drop!

Easy to Use Interface

The user interface for Resizer is super straightforward. It has a single window that fits right in with the overall Mac OS X design. To start resizing your images, just drag and drop them onto the main window or even right onto the Resizer Dock icon.

Adding Images Made Simple

If you prefer, there's an “Add” button located at the bottom left corner of the Resizer main window. It’s just a click away! On the other side, you'll find an “Overwrite” checkbox. When you check this box, Resizer will automatically overwrite any output files if it finds another document with the same name already sitting in your chosen output folder.

Output Folder Management

A quick tip: every time you launch a resizing process, make sure to specify where you want your resized images saved. The good news? Resizer can handle multiple images all at once, which really saves time!

A Simple Solution for Your Image Needs

All in all, Resizer offers a simple way to quickly reduce your image sizes. Just keep in mind that you can't customize how big or small they get—this app works specifically with @2x and -hd cocos2d images only.
