Description
ReGen – KeyCode
ReGen – KeyCode is a handy tool that helps you with character set conversions. Nowadays, there are many encoding schemes out there, but the most popular one is UTF-8. This has pretty much taken over from ASCII, which is now just a small part of UTF-8. Even though standards have changed, sometimes we still need to work with old charsets. That’s where ReGen – KeyCode comes in! It makes it super easy to switch between Unicode and ASCII.
Easy Installation
The best part? Installing this app is a breeze! But, heads up: the default language is Russian. No worries though! You can change it easily by clicking on the 'languages' button, which you’ll find on the left side of the second row.
How It Works
Once you've set your preferred language, you’re good to go! The app lets you convert different character sets without any fuss. You don’t even need to type anything in—just hit a keystroke and voilà! The matching values pop up right away. It supports ASCII, binary, HEX codes, and even browser codes (which are those alphabetical charts that browsers use).
Convenient Features
What’s cool about this setup is that each conversion result appears in its own box. This makes it super easy for you to tell them apart and also makes transferring data into other apps simple. Just click on a text box to copy the data straight to your Clipboard.
Stay Updated!
No one likes using outdated software! Luckily, ReGen – KeyCode has an update function so you can always have the latest version at your fingertips. Plus, it supports multiple languages!
Your Go-To Tool for Charset Conversions
In short, ReGen – KeyCode is an awesome choice for anyone needing charset conversions. With support for ASCII, binary, HEX codes and Unicode encoding schemes, it's perfect for making sure all your data gets transferred smoothly!
