RadioCAT

RadioCAT is a cool little widget that was made for Yahoo! Widgets, which you might remember as the Yahoo! Widget Engine or even Konfabulator. This handy tool used to let people in Catalonia listen to over 110 different radio stations!

Accessing Radio Stations

Even though you can still download RadioCAT from Softpedia and get it working with Yahoo! Widgets (it works on Windows 10 too!), there's a catch: you can't load the radio stations anymore. But don\u2019t worry! You can still click on the station icons, and it will take you directly to their websites. Just keep in mind that since this tool is pretty old, some of those websites may not be up and running.

User Interface Features

The interface mostly shows up in Spanish and features buttons arranged in a matrix view. These buttons are sorted by type: general radio, musicals, local stations, and others. You\u2019ll find just two playback buttons for playing and stopping the radio streaming service.

Navigating Station Websites

If you're curious about what each station offers, you can check out their websites by clicking on the station's cover right in the playback area\u2014not from the list of channels.

Configuration Options

When it comes to settings, RadioCAT lets you adjust things using standard Yahoo! Widgets preferences. You can set how your window appears\u2014normal or always on top\u2014and make other tweaks like ignoring mouse input or adjusting transparency. Plus, RadioCAT has its own options where you can pick from three themes that change how big the station covers look!
