When you run QuickReminder, it quietly hangs out in your system tray. You'll get a little balloon tooltip letting you know it's working. The only thing is, once you start setting reminders, the tray can get pretty crowded! Each reminder pops up with its own icon alongside the one for creating new reminders.

Two Ways to Get Notified

You can either tell QuickReminder how many minutes before an event you want to be alerted or specify the exact time of the event. But here's the catch–you might still miss an appointment if you're not paying attention to that busy tray area. The alerts come as balloon notifications that disappear after some time, and there’s no sound alert to grab your attention.
