QuickCursor is an open source Mac menu item that allows you to edit text from any application in your favorite text editor. Unlike custom "edit in" plugin solutions, QuickCursor provides a standard open source solution that uses public API's and doesn’t require input manager hacks to work.

Compatibility:

QuickCursor works with some applications and not with others. It technically works with any application that exposes its text to the Mac OS X Accessibility API through a single string value. However, it does not work with Mail.app.
