QuickBrowser is a super handy and easy-to-use web browser that you can access right from your Mac's status bar. Just one click with your mouse, and you're good to go!
With QuickBrowser, keeping an eye on your favorite websites is a breeze. You can track changes on sites, watch eBay auctions, check your Facebook feed, post tweets, or even catch live game events on specific sites. It's all about staying in the loop!
This lightweight app pops up straight from your Mac's menu bar. Just type in the website address you want to visit, and you're off! Plus, QuickBrowser's main window is resizable and can be moved anywhere on your desktop for convenience.
The toolbar on the left side makes it simple to add or remove websites from your favorites list. You'll find "Up" and "Down" arrows that let you scroll through your list quickly and open the page you want. The "Navigation" toolbar helps you reload pages or jump back and forth easily.
QuickBrowser also has cool sharing features! You can tweet about a site or write a Facebook post right from the app. If you choose "Large" view mode, you have the option to switch to "Normal Browser" mode so you can browse just like any other browser—or stick with mobile versions of pages if you'd prefer.
During our tests, we noticed that the "Normal Browser" feature didn't really work as expected—it didn't seem to change anything on loaded sites. But despite this little hiccup, using QuickBrowser was still a smooth ride that compares well with other browsers out there!
In short, QuickBrowser is a versatile tool that lets you surf the web easily while visiting all your favorite pages. Want to give it a try? Check it out for download here!
