Quick Tab

Quick Tab is a handy tool that makes switching between apps on your MacBook way easier. You know how when you use Cmd-Tab, you have to keep hitting Tab until you find the right app? If you've got a bunch of apps open, that can get super annoying!

Why Quick Tab Rocks

With Quick Tab, instead of pressing Tab over and over, you just hit Opt+Tab. This brings up a smaller selection window where you can quickly press a number key for the app you want to switch to. It’s like magic! You see the app names right there, and because the icons are smaller, it’s much easier to find what you need without scrolling through a long list.

The Struggle with Cmd-Tab

Let’s be real—Cmd-Tab is not great if you're juggling multiple apps at once. It works fine if you're only switching between two apps, but if you've got five or six open? Good luck! Cycling through them with Tab gets old fast.

A Little Challenge with Quick Tab

While Quick Tab is pretty awesome, it does come with one little hiccup: when you're holding down Option, only a few number keys are easily reachable with your left hand. That might mean using your right hand too, which isn’t ideal if you're also using a mouse. It would be nice if there was an option to keep that selection window visible until you hit a key!

Menu Bar and Dock Features

You’ll notice that Quick Tab shows up in both the menu bar and Dock. Unfortunately, there’s no way to hide it from those spots. And every time you open it again, the selection window pops back up in the middle of your screen—kind of annoying if you're trying to work smoothly.

Perfect for Busy Workspaces

If you’re managing lots of windows on your MacBook, Quick Tab could really help streamline things. Just remember though: using two hands might slow you down if you're working with a mouse! More features and customization options would definitely make this tool even better.
