The Nokia Qt SDK is a cool set of tools that makes life easier for developers. It works hand-in-hand with the Qt framework, helping you create apps for both Symbian and Maemo platforms without breaking a sweat.
One of the best features is the Qt Simulator. This nifty tool lets you test out your apps on your computer before sending them off to real devices. No more guesswork about how they'll work in the wild!
If you’re working on apps for the Nokia N900 or using Smart Installer to package apps, you're in luck! You can submit those creations to the Ovi Store, which is a great way to get your app in front of users.
Quick Note: There are two types of installers available. The offline installer gives you everything you need right away, while the online version will download what it needs as it runs on your computer.
If you're going for the offline installer, you'll need to set up a Nokia developer account first. Just hop over to Nokia's developer page, and you’ll be good to go!
