QLandkarte GT is an open-source software that’s all about helping you see your GPS data on different maps. Pretty cool, right?

Easy-to-Use Interface

This program has a simple design that makes it super easy to navigate. On the left side of the main window, you'll find a handy toolbox for managing your GPS data. The right side is where all the magic happens—you get to view your maps! You can check out tracks, waypoints, routes, and even overlays.

Importing Data Made Simple

You can easily import data from various sources like Map Collection (QMAP), Garmin (TDB), BirdsEye (JNX), TwoNav (RMAP), or Magellan (RMP). Plus, if you prefer using online maps, there are several options available for you to choose from. Want to add geo data? Just use QLB, GPX, or TCX file formats!

Screenshot and Export Features

Need a quick snapshot of your connected GPS device? No problem! You can take a screenshot and copy it straight to your clipboard. You can also print the map or export it as an image file in PNG format. And don’t forget—you can export geo data in GPX format too!

Map Navigation Made Easy

With QLandkarte GT, moving around the map is super simple. Just click on it and drag it where you want! You can zoom in or out and even perform searches to find what you're looking for.

Create Your Own Maps

If you’re feeling creative, you can make new maps using existing geo-referenced files or TIFF images. Fine-tune offsets of referenced files and stitch them together into one collection!

Add Waypoints with Details

You can also add waypoints by entering details like name, icon, position info, altitude, proximity distance, webpage links, descriptions—basically everything you'd need! Joining or splitting tracks is easy too.

Customize Your Experience

The program allows you to choose how you want measurements displayed—metric, nautical, or imperial—and pick your preferred time format—UTC, local time or automatic. It shows zoom levels on the map canvas along with clock info and track profiles.

Manage Data Transfers Smoothly

You can set up proxy parameters and limit streaming map cache as well as configure devices for uploads and downloads of waypoints and tracks. Oh! And there’s even sound notifications when transfers happen.
