QLandkarte GT

QLandkarte GT is a super handy open-source software that helps you show off your GPS data on all kinds of maps. It's like having a personal map guide right on your computer!

Easy-to-Use Interface

The program has a clean and simple design. On the left side, you'll find a bunch of tools to manage your GPS data, while the right side is where all the map action happens. You can check out tracks, waypoints, routes, and even overlays!

Importing Data Made Simple

If you need a visual of your connected GPS device, just take a screenshot! You can copy it to your clipboard or print the map directly. If you'd rather save it digitally, exporting to PNG format is also an option. And don't forget about exporting geo data to GPX format too!

Map Navigation Features

With QLandkarte GT, moving around the map is easy! Just click and drag it wherever you want. You can center the map or zoom in and out as needed. Searching for locations is also super simple!

Create Custom Maps

You can get creative by making new maps from existing geo-referenced files or TIFF images. Fine-tune offsets of referenced files, add references, crop borders, and stitch together maps into one collection.

Add Waypoints with Details

Add waypoints by giving them names and choosing icons. You can include info about position, altitude, proximity distance, links to web pages, descriptions, comments—plus even images and barcodes!

Customizable Settings

The program lets you choose measurement units (metric, nautical or imperial) and pick time formats (UTC, local or automatic). You'll also see zoom levels and track profiles right on your map canvas.

Performance Considerations

You have options to set up proxy parameters and control streaming map cache too! Plus uploading and downloading waypoints along with sound notifications are available during transfers. Just keep in mind that while QLandkarte GT offers great output results, it might not be too friendly on system resources; this could slow down your computer a bit.
