PWT (Python Window Tiler) is a handy little tool for anyone who wants to organize their windows better. It's written in Python and uses the cool pywin32 modules. If you're looking for a simple tiling solution, this might be just what you need!

Easy Keyboard Shortcuts

One of the best things about PWT is how easy it is to use with keyboard shortcuts. Here’s a quick rundown:

• ALT+H: Decrease the master area width by 100 pixels


• ALT+L: Increase the master area width by 100 pixels


• ALT+J: Shift focus to the next window


• ALT+K: Shift focus to the previous window


• ALT+RETURN: Switch focus to the master area


• ALT+SHIFT+J: Move the window to the next position


• ALT+SHIFT+K: Move the window to the previous position


• ALT+SHIFT+RETURN: Switches the window back to the master area


• ALT+SHIFT+H: Decrease master area size by 1 pixel


• ALT+SHIFT+L: Increase master area size by 1 pixel


• ALT+SHIFT+C: Close the currently focused window


• ALT+SHIFT+D: Toggle decorations on that focused window


• ALT+SHIFT+DELETE: Quit PWT completely


• ALT+1..9: Switch between tiler spaces 1 through 9


• ALT+SHIFT+1..9: Send a window to one of those tilers.


• ALT+I: Switches your view to the next monitor.


• ALT+U: Switches back to the previous monitor.


• ALT+SHIFT+I: Moves focused window over to the next monitor.


• ALT+SHIFT+U: Moves focused window back over to previous monitor.


• ALT+SPACE: Change up your current tiling layout!
