Mounting Volumes

The mount_point stands for the drive letter or an empty directory on an NTFS volume. The -f option is for your encrypted image file, while -d indicates which physical drive holds your encrypted volume. You can also set it to read-only mode to avoid making any changes by using -r. Plus, if you want to create a new encrypted volume, just add -c.

Advanced Features

You can customize various features as well! For example, set the verbosity level with -v, create a new key file with random data using -ck, or even run benchmarks of available ciphers like AES-256, Serpent, and SHACAL-2 with -bm. There’s also an option to control how many threads are used during encryption and decryption with -t.
