ProcessList

ProcessList is a handy little gadget designed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine platform. It gives you a peek into the current processes running on your computer. Think of it like the Windows Task Manager, but without those controls to stop or switch between processes.

Easy-to-Use Interface

The main window is super cool because it’s semi-transparent and really well organized. When you start it up, it automatically detects which applications are running and lists their processes for you. You can see not just the names of these processes but also important info like their process ID, how much memory they're using, and the CPU time they've consumed. Plus, you get to see all your total, system, and user processes!

Customizable Sorting Options

By default, everything in the list is sorted by memory usage. But guess what? You can change that! Just hop into the preferences panel to sort processes by ID (either low to high or high to low), name, or CPU time instead. And if that’s not enough customization for you, feel free to tweak how often updates happen (the default is every 10 seconds) and even set how many processes show up in your list (default is 10).

Stay on Top!

Thanks to some neat features from the Yahoo! Widget Engine options, you can make sure that ProcessList's main window stays on top of other panels when you're working. You can also adjust its opacity so it doesn’t distract you too much while you're multitasking! If you're feeling fancy, there's even an option to ignore mouse events so it won’t get in your way as you drag other windows around.
